American Traveler is hiring an RN for a PACU position requiring recent PACU/Recovery Room experience and Epic charting proficiency.

• PACU unit in a hospital setting
• Day/evening 10-hour shifts, scheduled between 7 am-8 pm, Monday-Friday
• No on-call requirements
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Floating required as needed
• Wide range of surgical case types supported including bariatric, ENT, general, GYN, neuro/spine, ortho, and urology procedures
• Cares for patients recovering from various anesthesia types including general, spinal, MAC, and nerve blocks

• Active WI RN license or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of PACU/Recovery Room experience required within the last 3 years
• Epic EMR experience required, preferably within the past 12 months
• Must pass a telemetry exam with strict passing criteria prior to starting
• Previous travel RN experience required
• Skills in airway assessment, ABG interpretation, chest tube management, and cardiac monitoring preferred

• Provide pre- and post-operative care across a broad range of surgical specialties
• Located at a newer hospital offering holistic, wellness-focused care
• Free onsite parking available
• Must live within 50 miles of the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Must have completed a cardiac interpretation review course if the telemetry exam is failed twice
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
