American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an IMC Telemetry position requiring WI or compact RN licensure and vent/transplant experience at a Magnet-designated teaching hospital.

• Work across two IMC units: D6/5 Acute Med/Progressive Care and B4/3 Thoracic
• Day/evening 12-hour shifts, 7:00am-7:30pm, Monday through Friday
• Every other weekend required along with some holiday coverage
• 4x12 schedules accepted
• Floating required as needed
• Uses Epic charting system

• Active WI RN license or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only)
• Minimum 2 years acute care experience within the last 3 years in telemetry/oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown settings
• Vent management and transplant experience required
• Epic EMR experience required, preferably within the past 12 months
• Trauma Level II experience required;
  Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Must pass a telemetry competency exam prior to starting, including adult and pediatric rhythm identification with strict passing criteria
• Skilled in IV therapy, central/arterial/PICC line management, and blood product administration
• Experience with BiPAP/CPAP, chest tubes, HFNC, and ABG interpretation
• Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and rapid response/code team protocols
• Experience with vasoactive drip titration, heparin protocols, and insulin drip management
• Experience with pre/post cardiac cath and cardiac surgery care

• Provide care to patients requiring telemetry, cardiac, and progressive/step-down level monitoring
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Holiday coverage required, including December 24 and 25 with no time-off requests approved for these dates
• Limited RTO availability during the weeks of December 22 through January 5
• Located at a Magnet-designated teaching hospital ranked as Wisconsin's #1 hospital
