The Great Lakes Indian Fish and Wildlife Commission (GLIFWC), in cooperation with the University of Wisconsin-Madison, is recruiting a hair snare/trapping technician to conduct American marten surveys in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. Technicians will assist a PhD student in conducting non-invasive hair snare surveys alongside trapping and collaring marten. The anticipated start date is January 2, 2026, with an expected end date of February 28, 2026, though there is a possibility of additional work.
Housing and a field vehicle are provided.
