Assistant Community Manager | Madison, WI

Help us make a new property part of the ACC team! ACC is looking for a full-time Assistant Community Manager to join us at Park Cedar
, a 150-unit tax credit multifamily community in downtown Madison. ACC will begin managing Park Cedar in November, making this an opportunity to step into a property that is new to our team and help establish a strong, organized start.

This is a busy, resident-focused role where you’ll work alongside the Community Manager to support leasing, resident needs, administrative tasks, and the day-to-day operations of the property. We’re looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable juggling multiple priorities, and enjoys working with people.

What you’ll bring:

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Confidence working with residents and handling day-to-day questions and needs
  • Property management or affordable housing experience is preferred, but not required
  • A willingness to learn, take ownership, and grow in property management

Essential Duties
  • Ensure complexes and vacancies are ready for showings and move-in dates.
  • Effectively communicate property features and amenities to all prospects.
  • Answer questions to all prospects and potential applicants in a timely manner.
  • Conduct showings of vacant units to all interested prospects.
  • Greet aft walk-in traffic during open office hours and attend to all needs, questions, or complaints.
  • Address resident concerns and all maintenance requests in a timely manner.
  • Process all paperwork in accordance with company policies and Fair Housing requirements for new applicants, recertification's, and renewals.
