CATERING CAPTAIN (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)
We’re hiring a CATERING CAPTAIN at Eurest USA to coordinate catering staff schedules, prepare and serve food at scheduled functions, and deliver food and beverages to catered functions. The position is full‑time or part‑time and is located at American Family Insurance – 6000 American Parkway, Madison, WI 53783.
Responsibilities- Determine workload requirements from catering orders.
- Meet with function group leaders to discuss setup arrangements, address last‑minute changes, and resolve problems.
- Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a service‑oriented manner.
- Instruct staff on work expectations for catered functions and help staff set up rooms to desired specifications.
- Assemble and deliver food and supplies to scheduled locations, serve food and beverages to guests, and return food, beverages, serving equipment and utensils to the catering facility.
- Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures; follow HACCP standards.
- Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils; keep food preparation by following approved recipes and production standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Valid driver’s license is required; a food handler’s permit and/or alcohol server permit (where required by state law) is also required.
