Salary Range: $47,000.00 To $51,000.00 Annually

The Statehouse Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the overall success of The Edgewater’s signature restaurant by exceeding guest expectations in food and beverage service. Acting as the manager on duty, this position provides guidance, training, and day-to-day supervision of staff. The Supervisor also supports the Statehouse Manager in tasks such as reviewing inventory, leading pre-shift meetings, resolving guest concerns, and ensuring high-quality service standards.

This role plays a vital part in fostering teamwork and delivering a memorable dining experience to every guest.

• Supervise, coach, and support Statehouse team members during service.
• Lead pre-shift meetings to communicate specials, reservations, and service priorities.
• Ensure compliance with food, beverage, and service standards.
• Act as manager on duty, handling guest concerns or complaints to satisfaction.
• Review and assist with inventory and supply levels as directed by management.
• Assign server sections and support floor operations during service periods.
• Monitor productivity and performance of service staff.
• Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming restaurant environment.
• Support training and development of team members to promote consistent service.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

• Previous experience as a manager, supervisor, or lead in a restaurant setting (hotel or resort experience preferred).
• Strong supervisory skills with the ability to coach, train, and motivate staff.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Working knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
• Food Safety Certification preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.

This position operates in both indoor and outdoor settings, behind the bar, in the dining area, and in an office environment. The role may require extended hours, high-volume periods, and work in varying weather conditions. This role operates in a busy restaurant environment, using standard equipment including POS systems, commercial glassware washers, and bar tools.

Employees may be exposed to various workplace hazards, including but not limited to cuts, slips, trips, pinching, falls, and burns.

This is an active role requiring frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching. The position involves regular lifting of up to 10 lbs and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
