The Role

As a Junior Sales Development Manager, you will play a key role in helping us bring our mission to life by developing qualified leads into committed customers by providing education to their decision making process. This position provides an excellent opportunity for someone interested in pursuing a career in Sales while supporting the growth of a dynamic and growing local company!

Key Responsibilities
  • Contact and qualify potential customers
  • Provide requested or necessary support, training, and resources for new wholesale customers and leads
  • Convert potential customer leads into accounts
  • Travel to visit new and existing wholesale accounts
  • Maintain clear, detailed records and data on potential customers, including business specifics and summaries of all interactions
  • Represent the company at trade shows to build brand recognition and connect with new potential accounts
About You

We’re looking for individuals who:

  • Are at least 18 years of age
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Must be customer service driven with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets and email
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Availability to travel including frequent day trips and overnight business trips of up to a week at a time
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record (No convictions for the following offenses, in any vehicle, in the last seven years):
  • Driving under the influence of alcohol (.04 or greater alcohol concentration or refusing to test)
  • Driving under the influence of a controlled substance
  • Leaving the scene of an accident
  • Reckless driving
  • A moving violation in connection with a fatal accident
  • Eluding a police officer
  • Operated a vehicle with a suspended or revoked license
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to occasionally move supplies or files weighing up to 50lbs.
  • Must be able to move about inside office, wholesale locations, or at trade shows.
  • Must be able to work outside in incremental weather during first deliveries.
  • Must occasionally be able to ascends/descends a ladder or stairs to stock/deliver at wholesale locations.
  • Must be able to constantly operate a computer and other office machinery, such as but not limited to a calculator, copy machine, and printer.
  • Must be able to detect fire, trip, or other safety hazards.

Previous experience in account management or customer service experience is a plus, but your attitude and alignment with our values matter most.
