Water Sales Manager

Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand its residential and light commercial water treatment business. The ideal candidate can work remotely, but must reside in or near Wisconsin and be able to regularly visit the Reedsburg headquarters. This role involves 30%–50% travel for customer meetings and trade shows.

A competitive base salary of $120,000 is offered along with commission. The company anticipates first-year commission earnings of $20,000–$40,000 for meeting performance expectations.

Responsibilities Identify and develop new business with OEMs, distributors, dealers, plumbing customers, and private-label partners.

Manage opportunities from initial prospecting and product trials to proposal submission, negotiation, and deal closure.

Assist customers in selecting and applying water softeners, filtration systems, reverse osmosis equipment, valves, tanks, and media.

Expand current accounts and communicate client requirements to engineering, product, operations, and quality teams.

Maintain an accurate forecast and pipeline in the Salesforce platform.

Requirements Demonstrated sales experience in residential or light commercial water treatment equipment, with knowledge of water chemistry, applications, and equipment sizing.

A track record of securing new business and managing customer relationships throughout the sales cycle.

Familiarity with water softeners, filtration, reverse osmosis, control valves, tanks, and media.

Proficiency in using Salesforce CRM and AI productivity tools.

Willingness to travel 30%–50% and make regular visits to the Reedsburg headquarters.
