Entry Level Chemist

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Apply GMP/GLP standards in all relevant areas
• Conduct routine analyses independently following methods, protocols, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines
• Document work and maintain study documentation and laboratory records
• Use laboratory equipment and software appropriate for assigned tasks
• Attend and participate in project meetings
• Perform peer review of data
• Plan daily workload and effectively schedule multiple assignments
• Contribute to a cohesive team environment and maintain a positive attitude
• Coordinate individual workload with team members
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent laboratory experience
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required
• Ability to stand and sit for long periods, including working within a laboratory hood and at a bench top
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Reside within commutable distance to Madison, WI
