Senior Security Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Senior Security Analyst in Madison, WI for a 6‑month contract, start no later than February 1st. Preferred to be in Madison or Milwaukee with 2 days onsite.
• Work within the Security Operations team performing security detection and tool maintenance.
• Enhance current Vulnerability Management improvement project using Tenable.
• Engage with users and staff to support the project.

The candidate will work within the Security Operations team which handles security detection and tools. The client is currently working on a Vulnerability Management improvement project. The candidate would work and enhance that project (Tenable is what they use). The individual will be talking to users on this team—reaching out to staff.

• Minimum 5 years of experience, ideally 8–10 years.
• Senior Analyst who can analyze events, serve as SME and build processes.
• Experience with Crowd Strike‑EDR, Elasticsearch or similar; familiarity with Zscaler, Cyberhaven, Abnormal Security is desirable but not mandatory.
• Exposure to Azure is a plus; not a requirement.
• Previous experience in highly regulated environments not required.

Pay range: lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. May vary based on education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Range may be modified in future.
