Flex Security Officer; ON-CALL

The company provides full-service security solutions for homes and businesses including security officer services, smart home automation, burglar and fire alarms, access control, security cameras, alarm monitoring, investigative services and background checks.

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable individual to join our team as a Flex Security Officer on an on-call basis. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients  premises, assets, and personnel. As a Flex Security Officer, you must be prepared to work variable shifts and respond to calls as needed, demonstrating flexibility and reliability in meeting the demands of the position.

This IS a requirement.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patrols of assigned areas, monitoring for suspicious activity and safety hazards.
• Control access to facilities, verifying credentials and enforcing security protocols.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, including medical incidents, alarms, and security breaches.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs of security incidents and activities.
• Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and clients.
• Collaborate with team members and external partners to address security concerns effectively.
• Stay informed about relevant security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in security-related fields preferred.
• MUST HAVE proven experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work flexible hours and respond to calls on short notice.
• Demonstrated reliability and professionalism in previous roles.
• Valid driver s license and good driving record preferred.
• Must be able to obtain a State Security License
