Security Officer Dispatch Position in Madison, WI

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Mon 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
Sun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial services location.
Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service, alarms, incidents, and requests to appropriate personnel using established communication protocols.
Monitor communication channels and security-related systems, document activity accurately, and maintain clear incident logs and dispatch records.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas and the business perimeter, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and/or access concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Possess a college degree.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
