Security officer

Pay Rate: $18 - $19 per hour

We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment at our Madison location. The ideal candidate will monitor premises, enforce regulations, and respond promptly to incidents to protect property, personnel, and visitors.

• Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or hazards
• Monitor surveillance equipment and conduct regular inspections of the premises
• Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and safety
• Respond immediately to alarms or other emergencies and coordinate with law enforcement as needed
• Maintain accurate written reports of daily activities, irregularities, and incidents
• Assist visitors with directions and verify credentials when required

• Previous security or related experience preferred but not required
• Ability to observe and report details accurately
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to pass background checks and any required licensing for security officers in Wisconsin
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and manage physical demands of the role
