This is a fantastic career opportunity for a creative journeyman field electrician to join a leading, innovative security integration company specializing in end-to-end, enterprise-level security systems for hospitals, K-12 school districts, higher education and large commercial businesses. We don’t simply install security systems. We design, custom engineer and integrate complex enterprise systems involving access control, CCTV, weapons detection, structured cabling, fiber optics, intercom/paging technologies and more.
Nothing is out of the box. Each project is unique.

This role is ideal for a problem-solving technician with a strong low-voltage electrical background looking for a new and rewarding challenge in the security industry. A fundamental knowledge of security systems is a plus but not a necessity, as long as you’re willing to be trained.
Senergy has three office locations:
Springfield, IL, Alton, IL (St. Louis Metro Area), Green Bay, WI. This new technician role will be located in Madison, WI.
- Install, test, troubleshoot and service advanced low-voltage systems involving security cameras, IP-based video surveillance, access control, duress, video / intercom, concealed weapons detection systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation and service records. Provide project manager daily manpower and contract closure projections.
- Perform inspections.
- Provide client training, when necessary.
- Ensure work complies with industry codes and standards.
- Participate in necessary certification(s) training (company paid for).
- Ideally, 3-4 year journeyman-level electrical technician with a strong background in control work and electrical theory.
- Familiarity with reading blueprints, detailed project drawings, specifications and installation instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Identify and solve complex technical issues.
- Communicate effectively with project manager, customers and colleagues.
- Take full responsibility for the quality of work and timeliness of project completion.
- Fundamental computer skills and working knowledge of basic hand tools.
- Green Bay, WI. based location.
- On-call rotation availability.
- If not already a member, willing to join the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
- Able to pass a drug test.
- Company truck.
