How You’ll Make an Impact
As a Carpenter Foreman, you are the boots‑on‑the‑ground leadership driving project success. You’ll oversee daily construction activities while working hands‑on with a talented crew. From layout to finishing, you’ll ensure quality, safety, and efficiency every step of the way.
You Will
- Lead and mentor carpenters while actively working alongside them
- Interpret plans, drawings, and specs to build with accuracy and precision
- Coordinate daily site needs with Field Operations, Shop, and Project Managers
- Maintain professional communication with owners and project stakeholders
- Complete layout, grade elevations, and material measurements
- Uphold jobsite cleanliness, organization, and professionalism
- Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Promote a strong safety culture — investigate incidents and model safe behavior
- Accurately track time, equipment, and work progress
- Contribute to developing the next generation of skilled professionals
What You Bring
- 5+ years of commercial construction carpentry experience, including foreman‑level leadership
- Strong blueprint and document reading skills
- Proficiency in construction math and layout (algebra/geometry)
- Solid understanding of materials, equipment, and construction methods
- Excellent communication and team‑leadership skills
- Valid driver’s license + ability to travel between job sites
- Strong commitment to safety and OSHA compliance
