This position plays an important role in construction projects. Based on a construction project site, they assist by leading carpenters and apprentices and help encourage and drive our safety culture.
Job TitleCarpenter Foreman
Reports toField Leader / Field Operations Leader
PurposeCoordinate and train carpenters to deliver a high-quality project safely.
What you'll do- Manage and coordinate field personnel and activities, including project layout and planning, crew and workforce management, work sequencing, mentor and train carpenters, assist with crew’s Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) forms, tool and equipment onsite inventory.
- Attend foreman meetings.
- Coordinate and sequence work with other trade partners.
- Maintain established schedule dates.
- Promote, enforce, and train on safety policies.
- Conduct safety walks and reports.
- Understand budgets for self-perform work.
- Maintain clean jobsite and ICRA standards.
- Represent 3G Companies externally to trade partners, clients, and industry representatives.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Experience in general construction carpenter work, graduate in an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience.
- Preferred – Previous experience managing carpenters.
- Extremely detail-oriented.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Ability to use written and verbal communication effectively.
- Ability to see the big picture.
- Ability to work nights and weekends as necessary.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing.
- Must be able to navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weather.
- Must be able to work in a noisy environment.
- Ability to understand and enforce jobsite safety rules and OSHA requirements.
- Ability to work within one of 3G Companies' operational areas as assigned. This is an onsite role.
This is a field-based position and will not be an in-office role.
