We are looking for a motivated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining and repairing plant equipment to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations and support our continued facility and equipment expansion. This position involves a wide range of responsibilities, requiring strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work across diverse systems.

Daily tasks include servicing packaging equipment, printers, scales, plumbing systems, and electrical circuits. You’ll also perform installations, preventative maintenance, and a variety of general industrial repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mechanical and light electrical maintenance and repairs on various types of industrial equipment.
  • Assist with new equipment installations and respond to routine and emergency breakdowns.
  • Diagnose and report faulty or defective components and unusual conditions.
  • Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of maintenance work, including installation notes, repair time, and parts usage.
  • Ensure work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands‑on experience in industrial machine maintenance.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and equipment diagrams.
  • Experience with X‑Ray, Metal Detector, Checkweigher, Scale troubleshooting, repair and set‑up.
  • Experience installing, maintaining, and programming of VFD’s, PLC’s, Barcode Scanners and other electrical controls.
  • Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
  • Post‑secondary education in a related field or 2+ years of relevant work experience (Maintenance, Electrical, Automotive, etc.).
  • Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • Work is conducted both indoors and outdoors throughout the year.
  • Physically demanding tasks include lifting, climbing, kneeling, and twisting.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexibility in scheduling may be required to meet operational needs.
