* *** Hotel Maintenance Technician
** Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, skilled Temporary Hotel Maintenance Technician to support our facilities team during a high-demand period. In this role, you will ensure our guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities remain in excellent working order. You will address daily maintenance requests, perform general repairs, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for our guests.
** Key Responsibilities**
* ** General Repairs:
** Perform routine repairs involving basic plumbing (unclogging drains, fixing leaking faucets), light electrical work (replacing fixtures, outlets, switches), and minor carpentry.
* ** Room Maintenance:
** Address guest room work orders promptly, including fixing furniture, door locks, TVs, and wall coverings.
* ** HVAC & Appliances:
** Perform basic troubleshooting on PTAC/HVAC units, mini-fridges, and standard hotel appliances.
* ** Cosmetic Upkeep:
** Patch drywall, perform paint touch-ups, and keep common areas looking polished.
* ** Safety & Compliance:
** Inspect public spaces and walkways for safety hazards, ensure emergency exits remain clear, and follow all OSHA and hotel safety protocols.
* ** Preventive Maintenance:
** Assist the permanent team with scheduled routine checks on boilers, pool equipment (if applicable), and general building systems.

* Experience:

** 1–3 years of general maintenance experience, ideally in hospitality, residential management, or commercial facilities.
* ** Technical

Skills:

** Basic working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and general hardware repair.
* ** Physical Stamina:
** Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and climb ladders throughout an 8-hour shift.
* ** Communication:
** Strong customer service skills to interact politely with guests when handling in-room repairs.
