Location: Madison, WI and surrounding communities
Pay: $25-$29 per hour, based on experience

We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Flooring Installer with experience installing luxury vinyl plank (LVP) and hardwood flooring. If you take pride in quality craftsmanship, work well with a team, and enjoy seeing a project through from preparation to the finishing touches, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Do
  • Install LVP and hardwood flooring according to project specifications and manufacturer guidelines.

  • Prepare job sites by removing existing flooring, cleaning work areas, and completing necessary subfloor preparation.

  • Evaluate subfloor conditions and identify moisture, leveling, or other concerns before installation.

  • Measure spaces, plan layouts, and accurately cut materials to ensure a clean fit and minimize waste.

  • Install transitions, thresholds, trim, and other finishing components.

  • Safely operate flooring tools and equipment while protecting surrounding surfaces and customer property.

  • Communicate with team members and project leads about progress, material needs, and installation issues.

  • Maintain an organized job site and complete final cleanup and quality checks.

What We're Looking For
  • Hands-on experience installing both LVP and hardwood flooring.

  • Familiarity with floating, glue-down, and nail-down installation methods, as applicable to the flooring product.

  • Ability to measure accurately and use saws, nailers, and other flooring installation tools safely.

  • Strong attention to detail, particularly around seams, cuts, transitions, and finishing work.

  • Dependability, punctuality, and a professional approach when working in customers' homes or businesses.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a crew.

  • Reliable transportation to job sites throughout the Madison area.

  • Ability to perform essential installation duties, including kneeling, bending, standing, and moving flooring materials, with or without reasonable accommodation.
