Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of a fleet of 35 Oshkosh Redi‑Mix Trucks, 5 Dump Trucks, 3 tractors for pulling low boy trailer and cement bulk trailers, and approximately 25 company pick‑ups and service vehicles.
- Manage maintenance schedules and ensure operational and safety of all company vehicles.
- Supervise 5 truck shop mechanics and ensure adherence to all safety and environmental procedures and guidelines.
- Plan and schedule equipment preventive maintenance program.
- Train and mentor staff (5 mechanics).
- Work closely with other managers and stakeholders to align equipment usage with project timelines and budgets.
- Monitor and track equipment usage, perform repair inspections and procure new machinery and parts as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, FMCSA and labor regulations.
- Perform administrative tasks such as record keeping and reporting.
