Role Description

This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Purchasing Agent located in Madisonville, KY. The Purchasing Agent will manage procurement activities, including creating and processing purchase orders, negotiating contracts, and maintaining supplier relationships. Additional responsibilities include evaluating supplier performance, sourcing materials and services, and collaborating with various teams to ensure cost‑effective and timely acquisitions to meet operational needs.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Purchasing, Procurement, and creating and processing Purchase Orders
• Experience in Contract Negotiation and establishing vendor agreements
• Excellent Customer Service skills and ability to build and maintain vendor relationships
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and adept at working under deadlines
• Proficiency in relevant procurement software and tools
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred
