Position OverviewWe're looking for a motivated and dependable Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our Crofton, KY location. In this leadership role, you’ll assist the Store Manager in running a smooth, customer‑focused store while helping to train, lead, and inspire a great team.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Store Manager in all aspects of operations including inventory, scheduling, and team development
- Deliver exceptional customer service and promote a welcoming store environment
- Assist in maintaining store cleanliness, safety standards, and merchandising displays
- Help manage cash handling procedures and daily financial tasks
- Step into a leadership role when the Store Manager is off‑duty
- Coach team members to meet sales and service goals
- Uphold Ideal Market’s values of integrity, reliability, and community
- Prior experience in retail, convenience, or food service (leadership experience preferred)
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
- Customer‑first mindset with a passion for teamwork
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Dependable and organized with attention to detail
- Must be 20 or older
