Department: Warehouse / Inventory / Shipping / Driver

Position Summary – Driver – Responsible for driving and delivery of pre-ordered product to assigned accounts. May assist and float in the shop. May assist in and/or fabricate hoses and/or gaskets. Performs general administrative duties. Works under general to minimal supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include but not be limited to:

• Participate in counting inventory for cycle counts and maintain stock (i.e., tag, stack, sort, keep organized). Clean equipment and all shop areas
• Participate in lean activity and safety regulations
• Regularly make suggestions for improvement and work on continuous improvement projects for lean, quality and safety
• Additional duties include but may not be limited to:
  • Check accuracy and stability of the load
  • Deliver products to customers
  • Pick up company property.
  • Secure company assets
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures
  • 1+ years of commercial driving experience preferred.
  • Local delivery experience preferred
  • Prior industrial products experience a plus
  • Ability to operate a two or four wheel dolly and a forklift
  • Valid driver license required and appropriate insurance
  • Good driving record
  • May require ability to obtain a TWIC and/or Safety card and meet specific customer criteria for on-site access

Education and Experience:

• High school or equivalent (GED) required
• 1 year of prior shop and driving experience in an industrial environment preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 70 lbs occasionally
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. Must have the ability to repetitively lift, pull and push 50+ pounds, reach above head height, stand, walk, kneel, bend and reach.
• Stand for an extended period
• Working conditions are in a non-climate controlled environment
