Job Summary
We are looking for a Production Chemist from any pharmaceutical manufacturing company to support our Production Department. The role involves executing routine manufacturing activities, maintaining production documentation, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards at our Madurai facility.
Candidates with hands-on experience in any production line within the pharmaceutical industry and who are willing to work at Madurai are encouraged to apply.
Key
Roles & Responsibilities
- Execute day-to-day production activities as per approved procedures and instructions.
- Support smooth operation of the production department by following planned schedules and targets.
- Operate and monitor production equipment and machinery as per training and SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and quality standards during all production activities.
- Maintain accurate production documentation including batch records, logbooks, and checklists.
- Perform line clearance, material verification, and shift handover activities.
- Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, and Stores teams for production-related requirements.
- Report deviations, abnormalities, or equipment issues to supervisors in a timely manner.
- Follow company policies, audit requirements, and continuous improvement practices.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification:
B.Pharm (Mandatory)
- Experience:
0–2 years in pharmaceutical production (any production line)
- Currently working or previously worked in a pharmaceutical manufacturing company
- Candidates must be based in or around Madurai or willing to relocate and work at Madurai facility
Skills & Competencies
- Basic understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing operations
- Knowledge of SOPs, documentation, and GMP practices
- Strong execution and compliance mindset
- Ability to work in shift-based production environments
- Good communication and teamwork skills
