Are you a natural leader with a passion for logistics and supply chain efficiency? A growing organisation in the Manufacturing sector is looking for a Warehouse & Logistics Manager to take ownership of our end-to-end warehouse and logistics operations.

In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for everything from overseeing goods-in, inventory management, and warehouse operations, through to despatch, transportation planning, and performance optimisation. You’ll manage both internal teams and third-party logistics providers to ensure smooth, cost-effective, and timely delivery of goods — all while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

What you’ll be doing:

Drive efficient daily operations of the warehouse and despatch functions

Manage goods in/out, stock control, and inventory accuracy using WMS

Optimise warehouse layout and workflow for maximum productivity

Lead, train, and motivate a high-performing warehouse team

Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics and transport planning

Monitor performance metrics and deliver regular KPI reports

Collaborate across departments including sales, procurement, and customer service

Ensure compliance with health & safety and industry regulations

What we’re looking for:

Proven experience in warehouse, logistics, and supply chain management

Experience in a manufacturing or production-led environment

Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS)

Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and planning abilities

Confident communicator with solid negotiation skills

Knowledge of transport/logistics legislation and health & safety standards

Ability to effect large scale change

ISO / NBOSH / IOSH certification

Professional body – institute for warehouse logistics
