Competitive  Excellent Benefits Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Role An established and growing independent accountancy and business advisory firm is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Audit Advisor to join its expanding Audit team. Working with a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses across a range of sectors, you'll take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion while mentoring junior team members and building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities As a Senior Audit Advisor, you will:
Lead smaller audit assignments from planning through to completion. Take responsibility for individual audit sections on larger, more complex engagements. Prepare audit planning documentation, analytical reviews and going concern assessments. Complete complex audit areas including stock, deferred tax and related party transactions. Prepare more complex corporation tax computations where required. Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the audit process.

Review the work of junior team members, providing guidance and constructive feedback. Delegate work effectively and support the development of less experienced colleagues. Ensure assignments are completed efficiently and within agreed timescales.

The Person We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:
Previous experience working within an accountancy practice in an audit-focused role. Strong technical audit knowledge and an understanding of current accounting standards. Experience managing audit assignments from planning to completion. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. High attention to detail and a professional, commercial approach. The ability to mentor and support junior members of the team.
