Competitive Excellent Benefits Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent (35 hours per week, and 4 day work week available) About the Role An established and highly regarded accountancy practice is looking to recruit an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior to join its growing team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in both audit and accounts preparation who is looking to continue developing their career within a supportive and progressive practice.
You'll work with a diverse portfolio of clients across a variety of industries, gaining exposure to interesting assignments while receiving ongoing training and support. There are genuine opportunities for career progression, making this an ideal role for someone looking to advance into a Senior position.
Key Responsibilities As an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior, you will:
Prepare year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships and LLPs. Assist with audit assignments, including planning, fieldwork and completion. Prepare and maintain high-quality audit files. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, responding to day-to-day queries. Work closely with Managers and Partners on a varied portfolio of clients. Support and collaborate with junior members of the team. Ensure work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: A minimum of 3 years' experience working within a UK accountancy practice. Experience preparing statutory accounts and assisting on audit assignments. AAT qualified, with the desire to begin or continue studying towards ACCA (or equivalent). Strong communication and client relationship skills. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
