You will become an integral part of the team, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office while assisting with key accounting and administrative functions.
The Role Accounts Support Manage Sales and Purchase Ledger activities Process invoices, reconciliations, credit control and BACS payment runs Raise and monitor proforma invoices Maintain order intake logs and assist with month-end reporting Support backlog reporting and keep order records up to date Assist with month-end processes and VAT return preparation Produce and issue customer statements Liaise with customers regarding outstanding balances and account queries Reconcile credit card transactions, petty cash and expenses Update outstanding invoice schedules and support debt collection activities Follow up client retentions to ensure timely resolution Office Administration & HR Support Support the day-to-day management of the office Maintain office supplies, equipment and facilities Act as a key point of contact for office-related enquiries Assist with HR administration, onboarding and personnel records Coordinate appraisal and performance review administration Provide general administrative support including calls, filing and archiving Assist colleagues during holiday periods to ensure business continuity About You We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can manage a varied workload effectively.
You will ideally have:
At least 2 years' experience in an accounts and administration role Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail A positive, can-do attitude and a collaborative approach Confidence managing multiple priorities simultaneously Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Experience using Sage Line 50 Accounts (essential) Strong Excel skills (essential) The ability to work independently and as part of a team A reasonable commuting distance to Walton-on-Thames What's On Offer?
