Expert Construction are delighted to be working with this dynamic and forward-thinking construction company based in Mid Ulster with a wide portfolio of projects throughout the UK and Ireland. They are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team:

Major construction projects throughout the UK Sector:
New-build healthcare / nursing home within healthcare, care homes, hotels, residential or similar high-specification developments would be advantageous but is not essential. Our Client are recruiting for a highly motivated QS with strong main-contractor experience who is comfortable taking commercial ownership of projects from procurement through construction and final account. The role will include:
Procurement and commercial management of subcontract packages Monthly valuations, cost reporting and CVRs Management of variations and contractual entitlement Subcontractor valuations and final accounts Working closely with our Contracts, Site and Design teams Regular reporting to senior management Identifying commercial risks and opportunities Maintaining strong commercial control throughout the project lifecycle The successful candidate should ideally have:
Degree in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management or equivalent Strong main-contractor experience Experience delivering significant new-build projects Excellent commercial and contractual awareness Strong negotiation and communication skills Ability to work independently and take ownership Willingness to travel regularly to projects throughout the UK Package: £65,000 £ 75,000 DOE + vehicle/car allowance + pension + bonus + travel/accommodation expenses. This is a long-term opportunity within this Group , with genuine potential for progression into a senior commercial management position as the business continues to grow.
