Customer Service Advisor (temporary, ongoing)

Honeycomb is pleased to be working alongside a well-regarded, long-established banking institution in Northern Ireland to recruit for a Customer Service Advisor on a temporary, ongoing basis for its Magherafelt branch
.

The Role

As an integral part of the branch team, you'll be the welcoming point of contact that customers depend on. Each day, you will contribute to delivering an outstanding customer journey, responding to enquiries, managing transactions, and offering clear advice on the bank's products and services.

You’ll support customers in handling their everyday banking smoothly and safely, while also encouraging the use of digital and self-service channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering high-quality service during every customer interaction, with professionalism and warmth.
  • Managing cash and completing transactions with accuracy and security.
  • Carrying out daily balancing and adhering to audit, compliance, and security guidelines.
  • Building customer relationships and highlighting the full suite of banking services.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to foster a positive, supportive team environment.
About You

We're seeking someone who genuinely enjoys assisting people and takes pride in offering excellent service. You'll be confident, precise in cash handling, and comfortable engaging with customers in a personable and clear manner.

Essential Criteria
  • Experience in a customer-facing position.
  • Strong accuracy and dependability when working with cash.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Desirable
  • Previous experience in banking, retail cash handling, or the wider financial sector.
  • A full, clean UK driving licence.
