Reporting directly to the Design Manager, this role offers a unique opportunity to work within a modern facility that values expertise, innovation, and teamwork. About you Extensive experience in the design, detailing, and technical aspects of precast concrete products Proven track record of supervising, mentoring, or leading a team of BIM technicians within an office environment Strong knowledge of structural drafting principles and BIM workflows, preferably with industry-standard software Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects efficiently Effective communicator capable of liaising with internal teams, clients, and manufacturing partners Solid understanding of industry regulations, including Eurocodes and safety standards Degree or equivalent qualification in Structural/Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline is desirable but not essential What you'll do Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of BIM technicians, supporting their professional growth and ensuring high-quality output Oversee and review the development of 3D models, fabrication drawings, and schedules to guarantee structural integrity, visual finish, and compliance with project specifications Coordinate workloads within the team to align with project milestones, deadlines, and manufacturing schedules Act as a point of contact between the design office, manufacturing facilities, and site teams to promptly resolve technical queries and ensure smooth project progress Maintain and develop BIM standards, drafting protocols, and workflows, continuously improving processes for efficiency and accuracy Support the delivery of complex projects from conception through to completion, ensuring all deliverables meet quality, safety, and schedule requirements Contribute to ongoing process improvements and stay current with technological advancements within the industry For further information on this vacancy, or any other Built Environment job in Mid Ulster or wider Northern Ireland, please apply via the link below or contact James McIntosh for a confidential discussion IND
