Finance Business Partner

Your new company Hays Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working with a leading Northern Ireland organisation to recruit a Finance Business Partner on a 12-month maternity cover is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded qualified accountant to join a high-profile organisation where you'll work closely with senior operational leaders, providing financial insight, strategic support, and commercial guidance to drive business performance.

Your new role Partnering with senior operational stakeholders to provide financial insight and challenge Leading the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and monthly management accounts Supporting strategic planning and business performance initiatives Delivering commercial analysis to identify revenue growth and cost-saving opportunities Producing profitability reporting and performance analysis Supporting business improvement and operational efficiency projects Providing financial input into service development and operational decision-making Enhancing reporting and data analysis to support informed business decisions Supporting budgetary control, financial planning, and performance monitoring processes Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors where required What you'll need to succeed Fully qualified accountant status (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Minimum 3 years' post-qualified experience within industry or commerce Previous experience in a Finance Business Partner or commercially focused finance role Strong management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting experience Proven ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders Experience identifying and implementing cost reduction or profitability improvement initiatives Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills Experience using integrated financial systems and reporting tools Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities What you'll get in return 15.5% employer pension contribution 28 days annual leave plus 9 statutory holidays Hybrid working opportunities Exposure to senior leadership and strategic decision-making What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
