Accounts Technician

Your new role Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role within the finance team, supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial information. Key responsibilities will include:
Purchase ledger and sales ledger processing Bank and balance sheet reconciliations Assisting with month-end procedures Processing supplier payments and managing queries Credit control and cash allocation Maintaining accurate financial records Assisting with VAT returns and statutory reporting requirements Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes Producing reports and analysis for management Providing general support across the finance function What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role, you will have:
Previous experience within a finance or accounts position ATI qualification, Accounting Technician qualification or equivalent experience Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organisational and time management skills The ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication skills Candidates currently studying towards a professional qualification will also be considered.
