Management Accountant

KCR Solutions are pleased to be recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant on behalf of a well-established and growing business based in Gateshead. Reporting to and working closely with the Financial Controller, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure across a broad finance function and play an important role in supporting business performance. We are looking for a motivated finance professional with experience in a similar accounting role.

Whether you're currently studying AAT, ACCA, CIMA or ACA, or have gained your knowledge through practical experience, we would love to hear from you. This is a varied, hands-on position offering involvement in management reporting, reconciliations, forecasting, process improvements and wider finance support. Duties:
Assist with the preparation and analysis of management accounts Produce KPI reports and other key management information Complete daily, weekly and monthly balance sheet and control account reconciliations Prepare and post journals Support accounts preparation through to trial balance Complete quarterly reporting submissions Assist with cash flow monitoring and forecasting Support finance process and control improvements Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures Provide support across the wider finance team as required Work closely with and provide cover for the Financial Controller when needed About You

Experience with in a finance or accounting role with exposure to management accounting activities AAT qualified, part-qualified, studying towards a professional qualification, or qualified by experience Strong Excel and systems skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business Proactive, organised and able to work to deadlines Positive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks Team player with a continuous improvement mindset If you are looking for your next challenge in finance and want to join a business where you can develop your skills and contribute to continued success, do get in touch.
