Ongoing Temporary Assignment The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and self-sufficient Sales Ledger & Credit Controller to join our team on an ongoing temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy, high-volume transactional environment and is confident managing the full sales ledger and credit control function with minimal supervision. Due to business demands, the successful candidate will take ownership of the credit control process, ensuring outstanding debts are proactively managed while maintaining positive customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities Managing the end-to-end sales ledger function. Raising and processing a high volume of sales invoices accurately and efficiently. Taking ownership of credit control activities, including chasing outstanding debt via telephone and email. Monitoring customer accounts and maintaining accurate debtor records. Reconciling customer accounts and resolving invoice queries in a timely manner. Allocating incoming payments and investigating discrepancies. Producing aged debt reports and providing updates on outstanding balances.

Building positive relationships with customers while ensuring debts are collected in line with agreed payment terms. Supporting wider finance administration as required. About You The ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience within Sales Ledger and Credit Control . Strong organisational skills and a methodical approach to workload management. The ability to work independently and manage their own priorities effectively. Experience working in a high-volume transactional environment. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset. Confidence using finance systems and Microsoft Excel. What's on Offer Ongoing temporary assignment with immediate impact.
