Purpose and Function of Post
- To be responsible to the Assistant Director Finance, Legal, Governance & Transformation and/or the Strategic Director of Corporate Services/Finance for the provision of a comprehensive legal service, advice and advocacy to the Council in relation to an assigned caseload. The caseload will primarily be in relation to land and commercial property matters and regulatory matters but will include other matters across the Council's wide range of functional responsibilities.

Post 1:
Permanent
Post 2:
Temporary for 12months with possibility of extension or establishment.
Hours:
Post 1: 37 hours per week.
Monday - Friday (may include evening and weekend work).
Post 2: 22.2 hours per week
(3days per week, days to be confirmed on appointment) (may include evening and weekend work).
In addition to the standard pre-employment checks, this position will also be subject to receipt of a satisfactory Enhanced Access (NI) check.
