Spray Painter

Job Overview

We are currently looking for an experienced Spray Painter to join our production team at Eden Fabrications, offering the flexibility of a 4- or 5-day working week.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing products for surface finishing and applying coatings in line with individual project specifications. A strong knowledge of paint spraying techniques and excellent attention to detail are essential to ensure high‑quality, durable finishes that meet required thickness, colour, and finish standards.

Previous experience in fire painting would be advantageous.

• Follow work instructions for each individual project to ensure specification compliance
• Remove rust and loose materials using a wire brush or appropriate equipment
• Fill, sand, and smooth surfaces prior to spraying
• Mask areas not requiring paint using tape and coverings where necessary
• Select and mix required coating liquids
• Select and attach correct spray nozzles to achieve the desired finish
• Spray machines, products, and wall areas using industry‑standard techniques
• Clean spray cans, nozzles, and spraying equipment after each job
• Inspect finished coatings once dry to ensure quality standards are met, in line with BS EN 1090
• Wear appropriate PPE at all times

• Proven experience in a relevant or similar spray painting role
• Experience in fire painting is desirable but not essential
