General Operative x7 - Fridge Processing Location - Toomebridge Day

Shift: £12.79 per hour Night

Shift: £18.75 per hour 46 Hours Per Week Full-Time Opportunity Join a Leading Recycling & Sustainability Business We are currently recruiting for General Operatives to join a busy Fridge Processing Plant based in Toomebridge. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a growing environmental and recycling operation, helping to recover and recycle materials from fridges and large domestic appliances.

Key Responsibilities Sort refrigerators, washing machines, tumble dryers, and other electrical appliances into the correct recycling streams. Safely dismantle appliances and remove recyclable components such as compressors, motors, and copper. Operate processing and shredding machinery safely and efficiently. Carry out quality inspections on incoming materials. Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures. Report equipment faults and safety concerns promptly. Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily production targets.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment. Candidate Requirements Previous experience within recycling, waste management, manufacturing, production, or warehouse environments is desirable. Forklift Truck Licence Mechanical aptitude or experience dismantling equipment would be advantageous. Ability to operate machinery or willingness to undertake training. Strong awareness of health and safety procedures. Good attention to detail. Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and lifting duties.

Team player with good communication skills. Working Environment Warehouse and recycling processing facility. Regular exposure to noise, dust, and heavy machinery. Full PPE provided.
