Sales - Sales Advisor

Job Purpose

As a Sales Advisor, you will work with your Management team to implement the ultimate Omnichannel shopping experience for our customers, ensuring they are given the highest level of service by living our Service Promise.

You will inspire our customers to look good and express themselves with the latest fashion wherever and whenever they want. You will achieve this by being an ambassador for the brand and demonstrating our Customer Obsessed value.

• Help inspire customers to look and feel good by delivering our service techniques.
• Create a fantastic customer experience and let your personality and individual style shine through in everything you do.
• Support omnichannel sales: if a customer can’t find what they are looking for in store, help them find it online. Make it easy so they feel they are shopping with one brand.
• Be passionate about understanding who our local customers are and embrace this to drive sales and connect to customers and the local community including our charity partners.
• Support delivery of great store standards and a visually exciting experience that inspires customers to walk in and shop with us.

• Create an environment that embraces everyone, valuing different people and opinions and encouraging everyone to have fun and a voice.

• Ensure the store environment is safe for customers and team members by following all Health and Safety procedures.
• Help protect profit by understanding areas the store needs to focus on to maximise sales, reduce loss and control costs.
• Remain compliant with all Mandatory Training Modules.

• Understand who the core customer is that shops within your local market.
• Passionate about fashion and clothes, staying up to date with latest trends.

• Have a keen eye for detail in maintaining great store standards.

• Play an important role in store: help give team members confidence to voice their own ideas and opinions about anything that impacts how the team feels and how we can help make New Look a great place to work.
• Support communication and delivery of key engagement initiatives and messages in store.
• Serve as an ambassador for your store at quarterly Territory Your Voice meetings, and possibly at bi-annual divisional Your Voice meetings.
• Challenge store management to influence change based on feedback of your team.
• Maintain close relationships with your team and role model company values, showing a great example to customers and your team.

• As a Key Holder (subject to completing mandatory training), support opening and set up of the store in absence of a management member, with Territory Leader approval.
• In some circumstances, be a keyholder to access the store prior to trade to complete delivery or other tasks before opening.
