Medical Services Coordinator 2 - R

Location: Bacchus, Utah

Position Summary: The Medical Services Coordinator 2 will provide first aid, medical surveillance, and administrative support to employees and support the medical services team.

• Deliver first aid to employees or persons who become ill or injured at work facilities.
• Perform OSHA and job‑site required medical surveillance (drug testing, breath alcohol testing, respirator fit testing, vision and colour blindness screening, record review).
• Document in an electronic health record, maintain records, file reports, and generate spreadsheets and graphs.
• Manage phone volume and walk‑in office traffic while providing excellent customer service and representing the Medical Services department.
• Follow direction of the occupational health nurse or nurse practitioner in performing various functions.
• Work independently, demonstrate initiative, and take history effectively.

• High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.
• 1 year clinical office experience.
• Current certification for Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers.
• Current certification in Blood Borne Pathogens (BBP).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software programs.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.

• EMT certification.
• Experience as an EMT in an emergency room, urgent care, or occupational health setting.
• Administrative office experience.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant.
• CAOHC Hearing Conservationist Certification.
• NIOSH Spirometry Certification.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts, OSHA regulations, and best practice.
• Licensed Utah Radiology Practical Technician (or equivalent X‑Ray Machine Operator).

• Primary Level Salary Range: $43,100.00 – $71,900.00.
• Eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses.
