Plant Health Care Technician – Joshua Tree Experts
Location:
Salt Lake City, UT
Salary: $17.02-$28.38 per hour
Join us and become a Plant Health Care Expert! You're passionate about working outdoors, solving problems, and building strong relationships with clients. This role is perfect for someone who wants to make a direct impact on the health of ornamental trees and shrubs.
What You'll Do- Diagnose and treat common issues for ornamental trees and shrubs.
- Safely operate a spray rig, backpack sprayer, air spade, and other arboriculture equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service and build lasting trust with new and existing clients.
- Complete daily work efficiently, meet production goals, and identify new business opportunities.
- Perform daily truck inspections, basic equipment maintenance, and accurately complete all necessary paperwork.
- A self‑motivated, organized, and driven individual with strong communication skills.
- Physical ability to repeatedly lift 50+ lbs and work in demanding conditions.
- A valid driver's license and a high school diploma or GED.
- Required:
Experience in plant health care application services, a qualified supervisor, or a state‑issued certified applicator.
