** Summary
* * Medical Assistants are essential members of the clinic team. They contribute to the healthcare of patients by assisting with exams and procedures, organizing and managing patient flow, and taking on other responsibilities based on the needs of the department.

Such Team Members need to maintain active enrollment status and need provide proof of enrollment at the beginning of every semester.

- Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant) Or, if a current Moffitt Medical Assistant, must receive Certification from one of the above organizations within one year of date of transfer.  In lieu of CMA, successful completion of a Medical Assistant training program; or Applicable Military Medical Training; or Students who are actively enrolled in a BSN program, have completed nursing fundamentals and can provide proof of enrollment at the beginning of every semester.
