Marketing Content Creator and Model

Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing our marketing content for Jess Lea Wholesale and Boutique.

What the Content Creator will do:

• Create engaging short-form video content (Reels, Tik Toks, etc.) showcasing new arrivals, promotions, and behind-the-scenes moments
• Manage and execute the retail content calendar, ensuring consistent, on-brand messaging across platforms
• Be an on-camera personality for Jess Lea bringing energy, authenticity, and creativity to every video
• Stay ahead of social media trends, sounds, and best practices to keep content fresh and relevant
• Edit video content for social platforms
• Assist with content planning
• Model efficiently during photoshoots

What we are looking for:

• A natural on camera with a fun, bubbly personality
• Creative thinker with an eye for trends and storytelling
• Strong understanding of social media platforms - especially Instagram, Facebook, and Tik Tok
• Experience creating and editing video content (Cap Cut or within social media platforms)
• Highly organized and able to manage a content calendar and deadlines
• Self-starter who brings new ideas to the table and thrives in a collaborative environment
• Experience with Shopify is a plus
• Interacting with customers on Social Media
• Assist with Live Videos
• Create engaging graphics & videos
• Research social media, competitors and online trends
• Assist with photoshoots
• Support the owner and team members in any various projects
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite for designing marketing collateral
• Photoshoot (some travel will be required) & videography as needed. Editing pictures and videos will be required if needed
• Comfortable speaking on camera or willing to learn quickly
• Photogenic and confident presence
• Able to do your own hair and makeup to our requirements
• Size: medium or Large (due to sample size availability)
• Positive, cheerful attitude and strong work ethic

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years' experience in marketing and 2+ years of management experience
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
