Position Summary
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse and the hospice care plan.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring patients' conditions, administering medications and treatments, reporting changes in patients' status, and ensuring comfort and dignity for hospice patients.
- LVN collaborates with other health care professionals to meet patient and family needs in a compassionate manner.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong interpersonal and clinical skills
- Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
Education & Experience
- Current LVN license in the state of practice
- At least one year of experience, preferably in hospice or home care
