Veterinary Technician

We are a bustling, full-service, multi‑doctor, AAHA-accredited, small animal veterinary clinic located in Magnolia, TX. We are seeking highly qualified full‑time and part‑time veterinary technicians/veterinary assistants who can perform IV catheter placement, intubation, surgical assistance, venipuncture, radiology, and more. Our technicians are utilized to the fullest, and our practice culture is like no other.

LVT or CVA status preferred, but not required.

• Maintain proper and complete medical charts by obtaining relevant information.
• Utilize technical skills fully, including blood drawing, catheter placement, dentistry, surgery, pharmacy and nursing care.
• Ensure pet, client and associate safety using safe restraining techniques, following standard protocols, and maintaining clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms and labs.
• Provide client education regarding preventive care, and assist the veterinarian in treatment and surgeries.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Idexx in‑house laboratory analyzers.

• Ability to work with small animals in noisy, odorous, and emotionally intense situations.
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, climb, lift, carry and move up to 40 pounds.
