Position: Accounting Technician / Bookkeeper

THE EMPLOYER IS: INTEGRAL ACCOUNTING SOLUTIONSIntegral Accounting Solutions is a small progressive firm specialising in cloud-based accountancy services, management accounts, and payroll.

We are a small team focused on delivering an excellent, personal service to our clients.

The role of Bookkeeper / Administrator will form a key part of the team, assisting with the day-to-day financial management of a broad range of clients across various industry sectors.

All employees undergo thorough training and will be fully supported in their development.

Responsibilities
  • Accurate bookkeeping for a range of clients using computerised accounting software.
  • Checking clients’ supplier invoices and statements.
  • Sending customer invoices and statements on behalf of clients.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Processing payroll.
  • General Administration, answering telephones and filing.
  • Assisting with VAT Returns and accounts.
  • Regular liaison with clients.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Applicant needs to be computer literate and tech-minded.
  • Strong numerical skills and communication skills.
  • GCSE level education (or equivalent), and have obtained at least a grade C in Maths and English.
  • Keen to develop and learn.
  • Attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Experience gained working in an office environment would be advantageous.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly using accountancy packages, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook are desirable.
  • Any skills or training received in accounting would be a distinct advantage.
