Heavy Equipment Operator​/Foreman-Civil Division

Do you thrive in a hands‑on leadership role where safety, teamwork, and precision matter? We’re looking for a dependable, experienced Heavy Equipment Operator/Foreman-Civil Division to lead our excavation projects and keep things running smoothly from start to finish.

This is more than just operating equipment, it’s about guiding a crew, coordinating with other teams, and ensuring every project is delivered on time, on budget, and with the highest safety standards.

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of excavation crews.
• Inspect job sites, equipment, and progress to ensure quality, safety, and compliance.
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to plan project procedures.
• Order and track materials and supplies as needed.
• Accurately locate, measure, and mark site locations for structures and equipment.
• Coordinate work activities with other crews and project stakeholders.
• Assign tasks based on crew needs and material requirements.
• Train team members on equipment operation, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Manage project timelines to ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget.
• Maintain equipment service and maintenance logs.
• Report any accidents or incidents to management promptly.

• A proven leader with experience in excavation and site operations.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and equipment operation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and site plans with confidence.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

In accordance with New Jersey’s Pay Transparency Law, the expected salary range for this role is $100,000 – $125,000, based on experience and qualifications.
