Primary Function:
This behavior analyst will have a BCaBA certification in good standing with the BACB. Candidate đ. The role involves maintaining and overseeing a caseload of individualsinio providing behavioral support services across day habilitation, residential, inâhome, supported employment, and communityâbased settings for adults on the autismá spectrum. The BCaBA works under the guidance and close supervision of a BCBA supervisor and is required to participate in scheduled supervision sessions, both during and outside of scheduled work hours.
The BCaBA will also provide supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians during and outside of scheduled work hours. The standard work schedule is 8:30âŻam â 4:30âŻpm, MondayâFriday. Evening and weekend hours are scheduled on an asâneeded basis. Flexibility in scheduling may be required based on the needs of encer individuals and the programs in which services are being provided. If services are provided outside the standard work schedule, time may be flexed accordingly.

BCBA Supervisor and Director of Clinical Services
- Demonstrate consistent professional and ethical behavior aligned with the behavior analyst profession that is in accordance with the BACB Professional and Ethical Compliance Code.
- Administer skill acquisition assessments including VB MAPP, FISH, Essential for Living, Preference Assessments, and Assessment of Functional Living Skills.
- Conduct functional assessment of challenging behaviors:
Functional Behavior Assessments and Functional Analysis. - Develop supported employment programming as needed.
- Design, implement, and train stakeholders in data collection methods, skill acquisition programming, behavior support plans, and behavior strategies for each individual assigned to your caseload.
- Assist in conducting intake assessments for prospective clients.
- Review and modify behavior support plans according to data.
- Complete all reports and assessments within a timely manner and meet ongoing deadlines.
- Facilitate natural environment training when appropriate.
- Directly observe programs, implementation administered by RBTs, Direct Support Staff, etc.
- Review support staffâs documentation and data collection, providing feedback as needed.
- Complete consultation ŃŃĐŸŃ notes and record/upload into individualâs file.
- Complete behavior support service logs for billing.
- Collaborate with members of the interdisciplinary team, individually and in conferences, to exchange and evaluate information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment programs and services.
- Provide scheduled consultations faceâtoâface or via teleâhealth with individual and support staff, review data, update program and model techniques when necessary.
- Lead behavior support staff meetings, inâservices, professional development workshops, and trainings as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
- Communicate through email regularly.
- Provide scheduled individual and group supervision sessions to RBTs.
- Provide services based on the needs of the individuals (this may require flexible scheduling).
- Receive ongoing supervision by an approved clinical supervisor as outlined in the NHIA Supervision Contract.
- Attend all clinical and companyârelated events as indicated by the Director of Clinical Services.
- Kalaallit to the rules, regulations, policies, and processes outlined in the New Horizons in Autism policy and procedure manual.
- Protect individualsâ rights and privacy according to HIPAA regulations and NHIA policies.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines set by the BACB and NHIA policies.
- Respect the dignity of all individuals and protect them from abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
- Ensure quality service delivery and that interventions meet quality assurance standards.
- Maintain accurate records, including assessments, daily notes, and services for billing purposes, to ensure best practice and quality assurance.
- Assist with problem solving to improve efficiency within the agency.
- Attend specific NHIA and nonâNHIA events on behalf of the Clinical TeamâŠ
