Senior IBM DataStage Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior IBM Data Stage Developer to join our dynamic team.

This role is pivotal in supporting clients’ Data Stage ETL application environments, resolving production issues, and implementing enhancements.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with global teams.

• Troubleshoot and support production issues; analyze job failures and implement permanent fixes where possible.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including onshore and offshore resources.
• Implement changes based on customer requirements and guide application deployments.
• Recommend and implement performance improvements.
• Resolve issues reported in lower environments.
• Mentor junior team members and participate in code reviews.
• Work independently while contributing to broader team objectives.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IBM Data Stage application development.
• At least 5 years of experience with Linux Shell scripting.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with SQL Server.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience working in onsite/offshore development environments.
• High attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
