Salary: $24.00 – $28.00 hourly

Must be able to work at least 1 weekend day.

Brandywine Living, a premier provider of quality senior living, is seeking a Chef to join our team! The Chef will assist the Executive Chef in all phases of meal preparation, including salad bar offerings, desserts, and bakery items. Responsible for maintaining the highest standards of sanitation and safety practices in all phases of kitchen operation, food preparation, and storage.

• Prepare salad bar offerings, desserts, and bakery items.
• Assist the Executive Chef with meal preparation as assigned.
• Assist in procurement of food inventory and supplies.
• Label and store food items in accordance with safe storage standards.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment (food processor, dishwasher, convection oven, etc.).
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including floors.
• Create and prepare baked food items, breads, desserts, etc.
• Perform scheduled cleaning of equipment and work according to schedule as planned by the Executive Chef.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
